YE Xiang

Mr. Ye Xiang is a co-founder of VisionGain Capital Limited.

Mr. Ye has rich experience in China financial policy analysis and policy making. As Director of China Affairs at the SFC, he contributed to the formulation of a number of important policies involving cross-border capital market liberalization and corporate restructuring related to the financial sector in the mainland.

As Senior Analyst at the HKMA, he has researched on major policy issues on the financial reform and restructuring concerning the financial sector. As the Section Chief and senior economist at the PBOC, he was responsible for advicing on the regulation and supervision of foreign financial institutions in the mainland. Mr. Ye was a member of the Working Team for risk management and Basel Accord at the PBOC, and the chief negotiator for financial section of WTO accession in 1997-1998.

Mr. Ye also has broad corporate finance and investment banking experience. As Executive Director of the BOC International and Consultant at Goldman Sachs, he is directly responsible for the restructuring and subsequent listing of the Bank of China (HK), placement of the Industrial Bank of China and the acquisition strategy of the Bank of Communication.

Mr. Ye has a Doctorate Degree in International Finance at the Graduate School of the Peoples' Bank of China. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and has a Certificate for Risk Management.
